Growing up in a large house in Yorkshire, I was surrounded by vibrant and clashing 70s textiles and wallpapers, inherited from the previous owner. Despite my parents' disapproval, I secretly adored the boldness of it all. As time passed, the decor gradually faded away, replaced by my busy parents' redecorating efforts, until the early 90s marked its final departure. While I didn't intend to pay homage to an era I didn't personally experience, there's something captivating about it, and I was there for the hangover.
