Greenwashing? Not Here. Just Honestly Doing Our Best.

Greenwashing? Not Here. Just Honestly Doing Our Best.

Sustainability in fashion is complicated. Everyone’s shouting about saving the planet while pumping out 10,000 new styles a week , it’s giving “PR team in a panic.” So let’s skip the vague eco-slogans and have a grown-up conversation about how we do things.

We’re a small team,  cottage-industry small, making things by hand in our studio at Bona Ogles HQ. We don’t pretend to be perfect or carbon-neutral unicorns. But we do care deeply, we’re always trying to be better, and we’re fully transparent about the compromises we make along the way.

What We Actually Do (Minus the Green Glitter)

We pay people fairly. Always.

Fair pay is the absolute baseline for ethical fashion. Anyone who works with us gets paid properly. No drama, no loopholes, no excuses.

We craft artisanal pieces in-house.

When we have items in stock, its because our artisanal pieces are made right here in the studio using old stock fabrics and upcycled T-shirts. These are genuine one-offs, not “limited edition” in the corporate sense. When you see it, that’s literally what exists. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

We stay affordable AND sustainable.

Is it easy? Absolutely not. But accessibility matters. Beautiful, ethical design shouldn’t be reserved for the select few with gold-plated bank accounts. We offer what we do at a far price for the work that has been done, and that means everyone gets a fair wage. We know we cost a little more but we are not in this business to rip anyone off we are just doing our best to offer you sustainable luxurious stuff that you will want to keep.

We can transform your old jersey pieces.

Sentimental tee? Beloved but battered sweatshirt? We can turn it into one of our shawls and give it a new life. It’s personal, circular, and honestly one of our favourite things to do.

The Polyester Conversation (You Know You Want It)

We use polyester in some items,  and here’s the honest truth: when it’s made well, sourced responsibly, and printed using low-impact methods, it can actually be a smart environmental choice. Especially when locally manufactured or recycled.

Meanwhile, natural fibres like cotton and silk, as luxurious as they feel, come with their own issues: water usage, pesticides, labour conditions, energy intensity… the list goes on.

There’s no perfect fabric. There’s only better choices. Our approach is simple:
Use what exists. Use what’s local. Use what’s responsibly made. Make it last.

Let’s Not Pretend Anything Is Impact-Free

We won’t insult anyone with “zero impact” fairy tales. Everything has a footprint. What we do is focus on damage limitation... and constant improvement.

We know our shit isn’t scentless. We make compromises where it’s necessary to offer pieces people actually want to wear and keep. But we’re always moving in the right direction: less harm, more good, more transparency.

When We Say We Care, We Actually Mean It

We don’t sprinkle sustainability language on top just to sell more clothes. We care about the environment. We care about the people we work with. We care about craft, longevity, and responsibility.

We’re not greenwashing ourselves, we’re just doing the best we can, owning our flaws, and pushing for better every single day.

Talk to Us... Seriously

We love hearing your thoughts on the collection, your ideas, your critiques, and your stories. This business is small, personal, and very much alive... your voice shapes what we do next.
