Chains, Curves, and the Curious Case of Accidental Glamour

Chains, Curves, and the Curious Case of Accidental Glamour

How our looping lines stumbled into a stylish time warp — from Deco decadence to 70s swank

No Moodboard, No Masterplan – Just a Love of Loops

When we first started dabbling in curved geometry — those looping links, those sultry semi-circles that curl like sleepy smiles — we weren’t trying to be clever. There was no grand plan, no Pinterest-board of decades past. No “let’s-do-Deco” brainstorm. It all just happened — like the best parties and the worst haircuts.

But as the prints unfurled, a peculiar pang of déjà vu danced in. Suddenly, it felt as if these swooping shapes belonged on the shoulder of a 1970s siren — a Biba babe bathed in velvet — or glinting in chrome atop a skyscraper from the 1930s, all shimmer and show-off.

Then & Now: A Style That Refuses to Sit Still

Funny, isn’t it? How fashion, like a good disco track or a bad ex, always finds a way to come back around.

We weren’t out to mimic the ‘70s or channel the Deco dazzle of the ‘20s and ‘30s. But curves have a way of calling history home. When you play with bold shapes and repeating rhythms, you start to echo something eternal. Without meaning to, we’d landed on a look that felt totally now — and somehow, gloriously then.

Cinematic Glamour, Modern Mischief

Our colours are modern. Our silhouettes shift. Our scales stretch and shrink with ease. But look a little closer, and you might spot a hint of Madeleine Vionnet’s drapery, a whisper of Travis Banton’s silver screen shimmer, or the fierce, fabulous lines of Adrian’s architectural silhouettes. Maybe even a nod to the shag-pile splendour of a 1970s living room, complete with chrome coffee tables and cocktails at noon.

History Repeating (But Better Dressed)

Let’s be honest — the times we’re living in? They’ve got more in common with the 1930s and the 1970s than we’d care to admit. Uncertainty, upheaval, and yet, an undeniable urge to dress up, show up, and shake things off. Both eras were all about looking forward, about dreaming up new ways to dazzle. Sound familiar?

Match, Mix, and Make It Yours

We’re not trend-driven, but we do love creating designs that don’t just nod to nostalgia — they speak to it, sing with it, and occasionally flirt outrageously across time. These chain and semi-circle prints have the staying power of a great song — endlessly remixable, joyfully wearable, and surprisingly versatile.

You can mix and match every variant. They all share the same DNA: boldness, simplicity, and a bit of mischief. Plus, with our usual cast of curious characters sneaking in (or not — it’s up to you), we like to think we’ve added a little of ourselves into the mix.

You Wear It Best

Ultimately, how you wear them? Entirely your call. We create with you in mind — but we never presume to tell your story. We just hand you the building blocks: shapes with swagger, colours with clarity, and a world of possibilities stitched into every seam.

So whether you’re channelling Deco decadence, dancing down a Studio 54 staircase, or just strutting into your local with a knowing wink — we hope these prints inspire you to play, to reinterpret, to reinvent.

Because if fashion history teaches us anything, it’s this: style always circles back — but the fun part is making it your own.
